Lidocaine and Pancuronium Induced Cardiovascular Changes during Endotracheal Intubation

Abstract
The change in pulse rate before and after endotracheal intubations was determined in patients pretreating 2mg/kg of lidocaine, thalamoral 2m1, valium 10mg and 1mg of inderal.
Those data were compared with data for 10 patients receiving pancuronium, 0. 12mg /kg and pentothal sod. 6mg/kg of body weight.
In control group, pulse rate was increased 25/min. after endotracheal intubations. In thalamoral group, pulse rate was 16/min., which was tendency of attenuation compared with control group but another groups, there was no change of it¢¥s difference value of pulse rate which was compared with control group.
